Help Getting the Cannon - End of Bomb Garden

look i know this is suppose to be easy you throw the bomb over the fence, however, in saying that i have been trying to break the bricks for over a week, i have tried everything there must be something that i am missing to break the bricks so that i can get the cannon from the guy on cannon island. is there a trick to breaking those bricks the ones that are the only thing stopping you from getting to the guy who has the cannon.

please i know this is a silly question but i am getting really frustrated i have been trying for well over a week just to break those rocks and i have thrown the bombs at them, in front of them in behind them etc etc and they wont blow up. what am i missing help please

Hey there, I have a pretty detailed walkthrough for this area on the website. http://www.zeldadungeon.net/Zelda12Walkthrough03.php

Anyway, maybe there still is a bit of confusion. NOT ALL the blocks can be blown up with bombs. Some of them you will need to push or pull. In order to push or pull them, you have to just tap and hold them and Link will go and grab them. Then you can press the arrows that will pop up on your screen.

The ones that need to be pushed/pulled are shown in this screen below. There are two of these in the small corridor and you cannot pull them both out of the way in this small rectangular area. You will need to pull the first one back all the way down by the bombflower to get it completely out of the way.

The ones that need to be blown up with bombs can be shown below. You can use the bomb flower on those two blocks.

actually it isnt that place it is the place at the very end where you are literally steps away from the place where you go ask for the cannon. i have tried and tried and i can not break the blocks that block the way there is three one and than 2 together. it should be really simple just throw the bomb over the fence but i cant not seem to get the blocks to break .


again it isnt inside the cave i have made it around to the very end it is literally at the very end right before you go get the cannon. thanks for trying to help

Ah okay, I misread your post a bit.

Do you know where the bomb is that you have to get? It is on a higher ledge to the left of that area. Just grab the bomb flower, jump off the ledge above and quickly run over to the fence.

All you need to do is tap where you want to bomb to be thrown. So the area shown in the picture below. If for some reason that isn't working, aim a bit further I suppose. I don't recall at all having problems throwing it over the fence.

Just be sure that you are throwing it over the fence rather than just setting it down.

OMG i am so stupid i wasnt throwing the bombs the right way . thanks so much for the details you give, i decided that i should practice and i wasnt tapping twice. i know it was a stupid question i imagine i will be back thanks again i am so silly
