Why can't I get in?

Why can't I get in the shop in castle town before it becomes Malo mart? Because whenever I try to get in the guy at the door says that I can't because my shoes are dirty.

I was wondering this myself, actually. I just never did try and figure out how you did.
I'm going to try it now though, and see if I can get in.
