Nabooru's reward?

Originally Nabooru was supposed to give Link something in return for the silver gauntlets(OoT) . That didn't happen because of the Twin Witches taking her captive..later on, in the spirit temple, after beating her she says, "If I new you would be such a handsome young man, I would have kept my promise back then." Interesting lol What are your opinions on what that prize was supposed to be?

My guess would be a ton of rupees, as the gerudo's were thieves so they probably had a lot of rupees.

it might be the Mirror Shield. In the manga i think Nabooru gave the mirror shield.

Actually maybe she would have given him the ice arrows.
I've never read zelda manga, so i don't know about the mirror shield thing though.

Yeah, but that doesn't quite go with what she says at the end right after she gives you the Medallion..the part I quoted.

The mirror shield maybe...she said she'd give whatever she was going to give him, when he was a kid. Remember? He had to crawl in the hole to get the gauntlet's. In my opinion what she was going to give him wasn't a material thing though..."If I knew you would be such a handsome young man, I would have kept my promise back then." Hm? Hm?

Well I was thinking something along the lines of a kiss. She has no way of getting the gauntlets other than this kid so she has to reward him with something. She obviously really needs these gauntlets so yeah..a kiss sounds reasonable because she knows she's hot stuff and she knows Link thinks so. She obviously isn't going to give up money lol and the mirror shield could be of use to her in means of money and protection.

Well that sounds reasonable I guess, but here's another thing. Nabooru said "If I knew you would be such a handsome young man, I would have kept my promise back then." That makes me think she might not have given him anything at all, just taken the gauntlets and left.

The mangas have nothing to do with the series, like the cartoons.

Although the manga is more official than the cartoons (these people do have to get rights from Nintendo to create them, just like the CDi Zeldas *sighs*). But the correct answer is sex.
