altough Tp is a big zelda game with much freedom and good quality
i heard from some of my friends that this game was supposed to be bigger. i'm not only talking about new areas or something but also enemies.
so i did a little reseach on my own. we all know that the magic meter was left out in the game. what was the purpose of the magic meter.
i only can assume the great spin attack or maybe also the magic armor. did they concider to also put in fire/ice and light arrows?
who knows?
here are some things that i found on the enemies
if some of you remember the first two TP trailers there was a shadow like monster and a big one eyed spider that was following link in a forest.

armos titan & goron golem

so what do you think about it, was there suposed to be more things in TP?

Come to think of it now, I remember the monsters in the old trailers. I think maybe they were just ideas they had at one time, but decided to drop for technical reasons, perhaps? If not, then perhaps they did leave it out purposely for some other reason.

in the old TP trailers, link his fighting style was also different. it was not thae same style in WW but its was cool.
i'm talking about the scene when he is fighting the puppets.

There actually is a magic bar in the game, you simply cant see or interact with it. You can also mix different color chu chus to get green chu jelly, which implies that they did intend to use magic of some sort. There is a video of it on youtube I think.
There is also a secret area of Snowpeak that you can glitch to.

Secret area of Snowpeak eh? *google search*
I wish they didnt leave stuff out. It would have been better.....its still quite a big game. I still havnt found all the heart containers. I think I need 8 more till Ive got them all.....
New enemies would have been good. And much more ordinary monsters which are really hard to beat. I want challange!! Those 3 knights you had to fight at the end of the cave thing, with all the levels, where even easy! The last boss was easy too. Just frustrating when you get knocked off your horse. :p

Oh yeah I remember that...I was really looking forward to that giant spider that was chasing Link....and like, the way the forest was designed in the trailers were awesome. It just made everything look more realistic....but TP is a great game anyway, but I agree that it could've been better.
One thing I love doing in TP is when you have to travel around Hyrule for quests and things. If there were more things like that in there I would be doing a super-duper happy dance! Lol

That is one thing that kind of frustrated me about the game, however. Once you've beaten the game, there's not a whole lot you can do, besides from catch fish, poes, and bugs. I just wish there was more to do after you've beaten the game.

I was able to complete most of the quests and i found all the heart containers. But did anyone find all the poes and free jahvani's soul. I stopped at 40 and just wanted to finish the game. Did most people use guide books or walkthroughs with this site. The third dungeon destroyed me, It was so BIG and the air dungeon was another huge one, but other than that I thought they were fun.

I agree. The game didn't really astonish me like I thought it would when I watched the trailers. It seemed pretty short, I completed it in two days without a guide - when I got to the end I thought: "what...? That's it?" I really wish it was longer. Maybe the demand of us gamers made them release it too soon? I remember the scheduled dates for TP being pushed back and back and back, for month after month. Along with that obviously came angry gamers demanding the game they've been waiting so long for. I'd like to see a "Twilight Princess: Master Quest" with more dungeons, enemies, etc, maybe even more items. Of course this will *probably* never happen, but it would still be satisfying to play.

I agree with you their. And I dont mean more side quests and mini game kinda things, like fishing, but I mean like lots of differant mini dungeons and missions kinda thing. That horseback fight against all the Orcs....they should have been used much more, but on much a larger scale. First time I did it, it was awesome, but the second time I did it ( re playing Tp ) I didnt once need to hit any of the other goblin things. :p Just rode past them.
The dungeons could get makeovers so you could do them again, with the boxx getting a differant tactic and being much harder. >.>

I have yet to complete TP since I havn't had the chance to play it. So far I really do like it, but I've seen my sister play it and complete it. It does seem a little short and feels like a little something is missing, but all in all It's a great game so far to me.

I wish at the end of the game you do more like talk to other characters after they were back at Ordon Village.

After you restore Eldin Bridge, go to the place you found it, and there is a cave there, it is called the cave of Ordeals, you pretty much just kill monster after monster, and you meet the great fairy too, it is not what I would call a dungeon, more of an undergound battlefield.

I found that place, but never completed it; I got bored after a while. Hopefully they'll up their game with the next release and include more enemies, dungeons, dificult bosses, and more puzzling puzzles. I found the game to be very easy and quite short. I beat it in 3 days.

No no no...the Cave of Ordeals is in Gerudo Desert. But I guess you mean where you find the piece of bridge.

the length of Tp was long enough for me, but like most people i think the dungeons and the bosses were way too easy.

Not the City in the Sky for me. It took me forever to beat that dungeon. Other than that, the dungeons were relatively easy.

The game could've been alot better if we hadn't been so impatient about it, but patients is a virtue most people don't have. Nintendo should have kept their mouths shut about it longer. I think that this is why they don't like to give details out that often anymore. Remember this well the next time you want a game to come out ASAP!!! A game worth playing is a game worth waiting for!

True, the next console Zelda has been in development for about two years now, and not one single detail has been released...except for it being on the Wii.

you're right, the city in the sky was quite hard, but not as hard as the water temple in oot, that took me two weeks and a guide to beat it.

Water Temple is not hard but its Rather annoying. always change your boots. always change water level. For the first time i used Farore's Wind in this temple.
as for City in the Sky, the idea of the temple is quite original. it was a little hard but not annoying.
and yes i also agree that the boss fights where on the easy side.

the city in the sky was very annoying, the music got on my nerves. the bosses were much of the same, i think. it was always, hit the eye except blizetta, zant and ganondorf.

I beat the sky temple in a matter of hours. I found it fun but I thought it was one of the easiest... then again they were all too easy. To me anyway

It was easy, yes, but I didn't think it was short.
And like all Zelda games that had the option to do so, it gets a whole lot harder if you try and do it without picking up any heart containers (including the piece of hearts). I'm trying to do that in TP myself now.

i read somewere that that glassed creature was just a model to compare the other characters/enemies of their size. i don 't think they were planning they would place something like this in the game.
one thing is 2 bad that they didn 't put in.
there was a golem like enemy. multiply gorons would hurl up end become one giant golem if i remember correctly.

This reminds me of Ocarina of Time, and how everybody looked desperiatly for things found in trailers. Hidden dungeons (Unicorn fountain, anybody?), hidden items (Remember the several year search for the Triforce?), and hidden textures (can I really go there?) were things people hacked the game for years to find, but were unsuccessful.

Those enemies looked cool and probably would have made the game better considering the game was missing so much that would have made it so much better.
No. It's not incomplete. It's perfectly complete. Why?
Well I hate people who say it's incomplete. And I do mean you people. We expect too much nowadays. We except everything to be done for us. First of all, you should damn happy that you even have this "pathetic" game, seeing as 30 years ago there wasn't even close to this. Second, I still have yet to hear a good reason why it could possibly be incomplete. In more literal terms, it had a beginning and in end. :P
But it had weapons, a storyline, good old everything about Zelda. If you think it's too easy, good for you. I don't really care if you keep constantly rubbing that in my face. I didn't think it was easy. I thought it was hard at sometimes.
Basically, it was complete.

I agree, the game is complete. The enemies that weren't put in were dropped ideas and don't make a game incomplete. I loved the game and thought it was awesome. People are just demanding more and more and aren't accepting what they get and are whining about it, making up excuses. Personally, I didn't like Phantom Hourglass, not because it didn't meet my expectations, but because I didn't like the gameplay. But that's just me. I thought those enemies would have been cool but I'm still not anymore disappointed in the game than I already am. Not at all.

i know, some fans a really high demanding.
but, i don 't mean with "incomplete" that the game could have been better.
no i mean that a lot of things were left out for some reason. would you not also wonder why they were left out? or if they wanted to leave some thing out before the actual game was released, then why did they start making it in the first place?
Depends on what you mean by a lot of things were left out. That could mean items, for that, what game doesn't have left out items? Please inform me. =D

Yeah to not get so off-topic, this video has always made me a little bit annoyed. I mean these guys would have looked to be at least a little bit fun, I think they would have been good in TP.

I think that porting Twilight Princess to the Wii was a bad idea.
Because insteed of trying to make a huge epic game, they had to take ideas out to add ideas that would work better with the Wii.

I really don 't think thats the cause.
Yes it was meant for the GC in the first place, but the (originaly intended) release date was also early. then afterwards they delayed until the release of the wii.
So yes they had to make adjustments but i don 't think the wii is the cause of it.

Think of it this way:
All the "beta" stuff (like enemies and places) from the trailors, looks really cool 'cause its something different from the TP we have. Its just that we're bored with it and want something new. Myself I have beaten the game four times. If we had the "beta" version then we would be looking at trailors for the game we had and be calling them "beta" and wishing we had them.

I don't believe they left out things because they ported it to the Wii. The game was pretty much finished whenever they decided to port it. The things which were left out were done so back during production most likely, and not because of the whole Wii thing. If that was the case, they would have made the Wii version, put the special controls and flipped the game and all that, made it more interactive, then had some of the team work on finishing whatever they wanted to put in the GC version.
Basically, I don't think it was affected by the Wii release.
