A Manga Filled World

With the recent announcements that some of the Legend of Zelda Manga would make its way over to the English speaking world, I felt it important to finish up an ongoing project at the site, the Manga section. For those of you unfamiliar with what Manga actually is, it simply is an artistic graphic novel, almost like a Comic book. They are filled with nicely done black and white illustrated scenes. These however, were only made available in Japan, but thanks to our friends at Zelda Legends, Zelda-Infinite, and many others involved, we've been able to get English translations.

If you take a look at the Manga page, you'll see that we currently have translated versions of the Manga for A Link to the Past, Link's Awakening, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Oracle of Seasons, Oracle of Ages, Four Swords Adventures, and The Minish Cap. There is a short description of each of the Manga and then a section about what differs from the Game and the Manga. Each of the Manga are quite interesting but also quite long. We conveniently have the Manga placed in our image gallery, so you can take a look at them at any time. There are a few other Zelda Manga issues out there that have not been fully translated. Excellent! I've always loved the mangas for Zelda. Although, I didn't know there was a Link's Awakening Manga. Or Four Swords for that matter.

These Mangas have been out for awhile but only recently put on the Mangafox site.

We actually have all of those already online on our site, except for that first Link to the Past one listed. That one only has the first 6 chapters translated, which means it is from Zelda Legends. (They only have the first 6 chapters done as well). I wasn't sure if it was worth being put up just yet if it was not fully translated.

We actually have more than what they have there, but ya, that site is good for looking for Manga of other game franchises.
