What were your favorite songs in TP?

You pretty much summed up most of the good ones, minus Malo Mart's song. I hated that song so much. :P

I actually got the shortened TP soundtrack from Nintendo Power magazine, and it includes a really nice prelude, Hyrule Field, Midna's Theme, Ordon Village, Kakariko Village, The Goron theme, and Ilia's theme.

I didn't much like the City in the Sky either. And now that I remember it, I did very much like the end credits too. They always do a good job with the end credit music scores, be it on Wind Waker, OoT, or TP.

end credits are always my favourite zelda songs. I remembered another nice tp song, agitha's castle

My favorite ones would have to be Death Mountain, gotta have the drum pounding Illa's theme, and Hyrule Field.

Though not necessarily TP themes, I loved Death Mountain, Stallord Phase II, the music behind Ganondorf's execution, Hyrule Castle and the Wolf Songs.

Original themes I liked were Ook Battle, Hyrule Field, Postman, Hidden Village, Puppet Zelda, Ganondorf (swordfight) and the End Credits.

I very much agree about the Hidden Village theme. Although I think the theme is only playing when Link is in the process of defeating the 20 bulblins or looking for the 20 cats. Otherwise, from what I recall, it was a lot more silent with the sound of the wind all that I can remember.

It really added to the feel that it was supposed to be some deserted town. Almost had a feeling of an American old western type movie.

Yeah, you're right Mases, the Hidden village music only played while you were fighting/looking for the Bulblins/cats. But yeah, it did make me think of some American old western film, especially how you had to find and shoot down/destroy enemy's hiding in old broken down houses.

the hidden village music was quite...unexpected for me.
i liked it, it fitt the whole deserted village theme.

but it has a wild westren cowboy theme that i never expected in a zelda game.
only in stead of guns you had your bow.

In general, the music was really good, but I think unlike most other Zelda titles, it just wasn't memorable. I know some of the main themes like Hyrule Field or Kakariko Village, given you spent so much time in those areas, but none of other ones really stand out. The Hidden Village theme (when searching for Cats or fighting Bulblins) is very memorable for me, even though I've only heard it a few times. Yet plenty of other themes, are just very forgetabble.

There were many good songs, IMO, but like you said, most of them aren't ones that'll stick with us. So, while they don't have that 'magical' feeling to them, they're great none-the-less.

I understand wolves can't howl in tune, but personally didn't like those songs either. D': It felt so.. inserted.

The music in TP didn't leave much of an impression on me, but I do have to give it credit for having another awesome Zelda field theme.
