With how much it is debated here, a thread is overdue
First off, these finding require that you accept the game "Freshly Picked: Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland" as canon. Seeing as how it is set in the Zelda universe and made by Nintendo, I don't see why it wouldn't be (not liking it being an invalid reason :P)
Here are some my findings posted over at ZI (zeldainformer.com)
I've been wanting to post this, might as well do it here.
I'm playing FPTRR now and it has lead me to some points of contention over the OoX placement.
1. Subrosians appear (called Salona, though they are identical in appearance and similar in habitat)
2. They reference contact with a hero in the past, and that they helped this hero.
This obviously places FPTRR as post OoX, but seeing as how the world is still composed of islands, it is also post-TWW, leading to an order I have not seen used before
TWW - OoX - FPTRR - (New Hyrule Games)
It also happens to support the theory of the deku tree bringing islands together. The islands of FPTRR are very close together, so much so that each island is connected to another by a bridge and strings of islands are referred to as continents. This in combination with locales such as Deku Forest (Location of the Great Deku Tree), Lon Lon Meadow, and Mount Desma (said to once be called the Mountain of Death) shows that the world of FPTRR must be one of 2 things.
1. Pre-TWW, where the flooding is incomplete and the old names are still around.
2. Post-TWW, where the Deku Tree is bringing islands together (or they're naturally unflooding) and the names from old hyrule re-surface.
Seeing as how 1 is unlikely due to the apparent speed of the flooding, that just leaves us with 2.

And in reference to "they made contact with a hero"
So... The famous Tingle... I never thought you would make it as far as this continent... Perhaps you are... No, it can't be... No, it's impossible... Among the Salona, there is an ancient legend that we all know... Long ago, this world was enslaved by a terrible demon... But a hero appeared who defeated the demon and restored peace... The hero had gathered together a band of brave men to aid him... Those brave supporters were the ancestors of the Salona... Ever since then, we have run these Bodyguard Salons, waiting for the day... ... when the hero is reborn and comes back to us. Just for a second, I thought you might be the reincarnation of that hero... But that can't be right! I mean, look at what you're wearing! Actually, sometime ago someone else came here who resembled that hero... credit to bitterlime

If I had to map a direct line of Links through the timeline I'd definitely throw her in.
