Hi. I'm new to posting, so please be patient. I am stuck in the battle with Bellum. Ciela gives me the golden sphere, the hourglass icon appears, with the (x1) at the bottom of my screen. When I go to make the hourglass in the frame after tapping the icon, nothing happens. I go from upper left to upper right, then down diagonally to lower and across to lower right, and then up diagonally to upper left again. Nothing happens! Both my daughter and I have tried just about everything we can think of to stop time. I know that I am missing something. Please help!

i know its tricky at the start.
you have to draw the figure 8, but if you draw it to hasty it won 't work most of the time.
so try to draw the figure 8 in a calm way.
always worked for me.

Thanks. I'll try this when I play later on today. Does Ciela only throw out another sphere after Link has stopped time? Again, thanks for the advice.

Umm... Do you mean with the another sphere thing you want have more than 1 phantom sphere? Yes, its possible. (If that was what you meant) ^^

I got frustrated at this part because I couldn't draw it correclty either, but once I figured it out, it was simple.
I think what I was doing was, using the entire box that it gave you draw it, which was sort of deceiving, since the hourlgass you draw is actually suppose to be much smaller. (I think that is what happened)
Anyway, once you figure it out, it really is simple to repeat.
Good Luck!

Make sure when you're drawing the hourglass, you're not drawing something like an 8. Make it more straight, and make a "Z" then connect the two ends. That's what I did and it worked every time.

I found that a figure eight works, or just replicate the hourglass symbol you have to draw on the door in the Ocean King Temple. I thought that this was a really cool feature of this battle, and I wish it could have been a bigger part of the game instead of just showing up in the very last battle. I guess what I'm saying is that I think the hourglass could have played a bigger role throughout the game instead of just acting like, well, an hourglass. The hourglass+blade=phantom sword part was pretty cool, though, especially when you can finally kill those stupid phantoms.
