I just saw that Link is right handed in Twilight Princess,
but he is left handed in every other zelda games.
why is that?

I recall reading on Wikipedia that due to most people being right handed, Nintendo completely inverted the Original Twilight Princess. The reason was because Twilight Princess was originally a Gamecube game and they developed the game with Link being left handed though they ended up wanting to stick Twilight Princess on the Wii. There was clearly no time to rebuild the game so they just decided to completely invert everything (The Map, Locations, Link's Lefthanderedness etc).

I can't really understand the reasoning behind that. Just because Link is left handed, and you hold the wii-mote in the right hand, suddenly you play like a gimp?

It's just easier seeing Link use the same arm as you are, because if he was using his left hand, you'd have to live in an inverted mindset for the game, which some people can do; I know I can't all that well.

Yeah. Most people are right handed (like myself). It's just because then you will need to stand and use the other half of your brain more to function correctly.

Yes, on the Gamecube version he is left handed though. The game was originally going to be released solely for the Gamecube, but the constant delays kept pushing the release date back. Nintendo then decided to release it for the Wii as well, but instead of just redoing the physics to make Link Right Handed to make it more realistic for the players (most of which would be right handed), they flipped everything. This is why everything in the Wii version of TP is flipped horizontally across the maps.

Yeah link is traditionally left handed. In the Wii version of twilight princess he's right to mirror the player. I've only played the GC version and he's left in that one though.
