I was just replaying OoT and right after you defeat inside the deku tree you watch a video about the goddeses making the world and I noticed it showed different parts of death mountain through it and it said that Din made the red earth then Farore fertilized the land and you see the Dondongo's Cave entrance with the Sky appearing. Now I was wondering why would thay choose to show that instead of like Hyrule Field gaining grass. So then I thought maybe Death Mountain has something important to do with the Goddesses. But Im not sure at all. Any ideas?

I also found a way to skip over having to talk to Mido after this and that is to save then turn the game off and back on and you will be in your house and Mido will not be in front of the entrance to the Deku Tree.

maybe nintendo was referencing to the greek's and mount olympis. in the ancient greek religion mount olympis is where the gods live and i think (correct me if i'm wrong) they started making the world there. it might be something else but my rupees are on the greek reference.

hmm I always thought that was kokiri but yeah it does make sense that it would be the beginning of zoras river. Perhaps nintendo simply didn't have the time to put in all the areas of hyrule or something. But who knows. *shrugs*

this is probably showing the three places where the spiritual stones are laid DeathMountain, Zora's River and later they go over the great deku trees place where it is with the camera pointed toward that little corrider. So it is probably showing where the three spiritual stones are or how the goddesses are sort of "attached" to these areas

Sweet, I didn't think of the cutscene that much.
Except I also expected to see hyrule field with grass and maybe Lake Hylia too.

What about The Goddess of Sand? Around the desert palace, you know.
Do you remember that statue carved in the rocks there?

Is this the evil Goddess? Sealed away in the rocks? The origin of the missing fourth piece of the triforce?
