Hylian Shield

So Hyrule has railways, which is progress in my opinion (yes i know im a little of topic... anywayys). I hated the boat theme but beat both the games so i'm glad to see Hyrule is making its return in cell shaded graphics for the DS.

on this time line we have seen some strange lobster shields and a different mirror shield for sure. So im just throwing this out there does hyrule remember it hylian knights shield design? or will it take on a new symbol.

The box art shield appears to be the same shape as those lobster shields but im hoping for a hylian shield.

I also noticed that the front of the train has a symbol that would look cool for a shield, and it reminds me of the red bird on the 3D Zelda's hylian shield.

Well the people on the AT really don't remember anything about Hyrule at all, aside from King Daphnes, and he's dead. So a lot of the old designs and traditions aren't around anymore. But one thing to note, is that the Phantom is carrying a shield that looks almost just like the shield Link carried from ALttP, LA, and the Oracle games.

haha just watched the trailer again and Link does get the lobster shield from the looks of it. sigh.

Well if this is the new Hyrule that Link and Tetra were looking for then it would make since that the Shields had different Symbols but if it is of a Hyrule we already know then The Symbols should be the same.

I think the lobster shield came from his outset clothes, but with my bad luck, it's probably going to be the lobster shield.

I thought it was a crawfish, like on his pyjamas from WW? Anyway, much hyrulean culture and traditions would have been lost during the flood, apart from the odd legend, or an old family shield. It seems the 'eagle' symbol has evolved to a crawfish/lobster, although that is actually more fitting. I sighed though when I saw it on my PH screenwipe, but eh.

Although the symbol on the front of the train looks suspiciously eagle-like, so who knows? I guess it depends on the timeline placement, and what information you believe, but lets not get into that :P Although, it would make an awesome shield.. kinda reminds me of a design I once doodled for a round hylian shield :L

The lobster was another symbol on toon Zelda's dress. As well as a version of the hylian crest.

In the new trailer, you can see the shield right before Link uses his whip, and it looks sort of blue. I don't think it would be the hylian shield, but there will hopefully be at least two shields.
