anyone know how to use the hammer after launching yourself into the air? ive tried almost evrythng, and havent figured out how i'm supposed to hit the red bolts.

after launched in air, tap the red bolts to break his stone armor

I don't know if it's more effective, but the first few times I swung, I charged up my hammer and hit him. Shortly after did I find out you could hit him normally.

this is one of my most favourite bosses cause you see him on the top screen and the thought of flying into the air a hitting him... it is just awesome i figured out how to beat this boss straight away but i had a bit of trouble when you got to fight just his head cause you gotta land on him.

Hold R or L and you'll equip your item during that time. I think that's what he's asking about.
