My location is Temple Of the Ocean King 3. I am on B2 and there is no key in the chamber west of the spikes. I have done a number of things to make it appear, to no avail. In the previous visit, second time through, it was just there. I have left the Temple several times, I even left the island hoping it would reset the temple. I have even tried hitting the crystal orbs in different sequences. Is it a glitch or am I just missing something?

stun and then get rid of blue phantom, hit the two crystal switches to make key appear, then use bombs to shortcut south and take key. use bombs to reach yellow vase in NW area.

I am not that far in the game. I still do not have the Phantom Sword, so I can not rid myself of the blue Phantom. According to my Prima Guide, I just need to slip by the Phantom, place my bomb on the south wall and then step on the switch and boomerang the key when the spikes go down. However, there is no key. It is a simple floor and simple job, but there is no key. I have gotten the yellow vase in the NW, struck all the crystal orbs many times, but still no key. When you enter any of the floors, the map usually shows the key, and on my B2 this time, it does not show the key. I love the Zelda games, but I use the guides big time and I am lost when it doesn't work. Any other ideas?

It is just like before, it just doesn't explain it correctly in the guide, yes the guide is wrong. (Not the only part I might add, I've noticed a few missing pieces thus far). THe key does not just appear there. In order to get the key to the drop, you must hit the two switches at the same time.

The switches that you need to it are the ones are the two closest to the top-right corner. One is just left of the standing phantom, and the other is just south of the entrance.

That is a map of the floor which shows all the orbs. The two purple circles near the top-right corner is what you need to get in order to proceed.
