List any video games you've played that resemble a Zelda game (such as dungeons, items, swords, puzzles, you know.) Feel free to move this thread if it isn't in the right place.

The game, 'Dark Cloud' was labeled the Zelda killer back during the early PS2 era, but I think that type of wording has since been shot down. I've played the game and it looked pretty good. The problem with what they did, is labeled it the 'Zelda Killer', since that is what it was called and will always be known as. If they just released and advertised it as an adventure game, it could have been something.

I own Dark Cloud...and its in no league with Zelda.
Neutopia 1 and 2 are Zelda clones made by Hudson Soft back in the day for the TurboGrfx-16...Haven't had the chance to play them but they look ok.
Beyond Oasis was a game made by SEGA for their Genesis, and it was supposed to beat ALttP...didn't do that, but its still a pretty cool game.
I tend to like Zelda-ish games though. Even though most of them fail horribly, they're still pretty fun :)

Actually the first mana game was called 'Seiken Densetsu: The Emergence of Excalibur' and it was on the FDS. And the GB title was Final Fantasy Adventure.

If you can track it down, I highly recommend Battle of Olympus. It plays pretty much exactly like Zelda II (even has some of the same glitches, strangely enough), but is much harder. And Zelda II is hard. If you finished Zelda II and thought to yourself "yawn", then give Battle of Olympus a try. Just be ready to die. A lot.

it may sound kinda stupid but runescape. because you can get better swords, shields, armor, and bows and arrows. and if your not a member you can fight a giant dragon that reminds me of ganon
