Hah, wouldn't it be funny to see them try to create an epic zelda movie? I can see it coming out as a LotR/Indiana Jones type of movie xD. Still, I'd go see it. Put Peter Jackson behind it and I'm sold :lol:

There are a few fan projects to make one. their is one really good on but i forgot the site.

Nintendo has had bad experences with their charcters being turned into movies so I think they will never sell out zelda for something official. Also it would be made in japan so an english director wouldent happon.

Why would it have to be made in Japan? The DragonBall movie is being filmed in Mexico by Fox. Never heard of Nintendo of America?

Well no matter where it would have to be filmed, I doubt it will be done. Zelda would be too hard a thing to replicate in a movie. So many versions of the story which one would they choose? But if it is done, I would definitely like to see Peter Jackson behind it.

Chances are they'd make the movie about OOT if anything.
And typically I'd be inclined to agree with you when you say that it'd be best with Peter Jackson, but I'm not entirely sure a Zelda movie would work out anyway. Like I've always said, an anime movie would be better.

I'd have to agree there, and nothing like the old one from the late 80s, a real anime would be sweet. Although the old one was thoroughly enjoyable; watching link's attempts to get with zelda and all :xd:

Oh yea, this thread is in the wrong forum, this isnt about a future Zelda game....plus we already have a Zelda movie thread I think anyways.

I think that a Zelda Movie would be hard to pull off. I think the best idea would to have a trilogy of films, to pull it off. Not sure what the story should be. Probably Ocarina of Time. Or something that we haven't seen yet.
