I saw it when it first came out, and I liked the action an' all. It was a very intresting movie, considering all the new twists they put in thw world. For example, animals for souls? Quite intresting, don't you agree? The movie revolved around the compass (of course) and the little girl (forgot th' name) Have anyone else seen the movie or heard about it?

Haven't seen the movie yet, but I've read the books. And they where worthless... don't think anyhting was so special. So I'm not going to bother watching the movies.

Meh... I like mystical stuff, so I liked it. But we all have our own opinions, don't we?

I'm a big fan of the fantasy-gerne, too. Love mystical stuff, indeed. But The Golden Compass was just... nothing. A Feast for Crows, that's good fantasy... but indeed, we all have opinions.

I read the books first, and I have to say the books were very good. Probably some of the best books I've read in a while. Especially the "Golden Compass" was really good.
I also saw the movie back in December, and I was amazed by how closely they stuck to the material.
Just know, everyone, that I'm a fan of the movie and the book.
Oh, and Link-san, the girl's name is Lyra.

I thought it was mystical... But then, agian, we all have opinions, don't we?
*smiles* I'm glad some people look on the bright side. Right, Melphlep, and I thought it was mystical. That's my opinion.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but i already played the game on the wii. the game itself wasn't very good, but the story sounded interesting.

Be sure not to judge the Golden Compass purely on the video games, or on the commercials for the movie. I'd encourage all who are interested to read the book.

The same time as the movie. Back in December. It's for loads of systems, pretty much every one.

Are they good? Not that I would want it, I hate movie video games.

I would only know about the DS version of the game, and it's decent. It's not a great game, but it's not terrible either. I heard the Wii version was better.

SEGA?! That is suprising. Wow. So, what is the game like? Is it different to the movie?

Well, like I said, all I know is the DS version. It's similar to the movie, but not exactly. Obviously, a movie video game won't add up to the movie. The DS version is like a side-scroller.

I get it. Of course. I really dislike the movie games, though. They're so... uncreative

However, though, if you're a fan, I'd say probably get the game for Wii. The DS game isn't as good.
