Favorite N64 Game

There have been many great game systems by all manufacturers. Sure, the graphics aren't as great as the newer systems, and sometimes it's a pain in the rear end getting the cartridges working, but I always though that the N64 was the best system ever made to this day. It was a huge breakthrough coming from a 2D 16-bit system to a 3D 64-bit system. This system also brang some of the best games of all time with it. Star Fox 64, Super Mario 64, and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, just to name a few.

This threak isn't about your fav ourite system though, but your favorite game made for the N64 which revolutionized console gaming as we know it today. My all time favorite game would definately have to be Banjo-Tooie, with Banjo-Kazooie close behind it. Don't ask my why I like it, I just do. I just wish that Microsoft didn't own Rare, Ltd. If you've seen the new Banjo-Kazooie 3 screenshot then you can obviously that they've ruined the game's main characters... they look way too serious. Next thing you know they'll be replacing their crazy animal sounds with voices.

super mario 64, majora's mask, orcarina of time, kirby: the crstals shards, yoshi story, banjo tooie, and chameleon twist 2 are all beast. Chameleon twist 2 was an odd game for the N64, but it was good

super mario 64, ocarina of time and goldeneye are my three favourite N64 games. the multiplayer in goldeneye was so fun, especially if you only use throwing knives ;)

Super Smash Bros has always been my absolute favourite N64game. Perfect fighting-game, and it's one of the few games I can say that I'm really awesome on ^^ Donkey Kong 64 is also on of my favourite games. Eight entertaining levels and great gameplay, a really good game.

Some of my favorite N64 games were: OoT, MM, Banjo-Kazooie, Goldeneye, Smash Bros, Super Mario 64, Maroi Kart 64, Kirby 64(forgot full name). Theres more but thats all I can think of.

i didn 't played goldeneye on N64 but i played perfect dark, that one was quite cool.
i loved the weapons there, my favorite was the laptop gun.

i didn 't played goldeneye on N64 but i played perfect dark, that one was quite cool.
I've never play Perfect Dark 64, but I heard good things about it. The one for the 360 is just horrible <.<
I recommend Goldeneye, its a great shooter.

never played perfect dark zero, but perfect dark 64 was cool, if i can find Goldeneye i will try it out. from what i heard the 2 games where quite samiliar. But i also reccomend perfect dark. its also really fun with multiplayer. with multiplayer you had different battle modes. like normal, close range ect... (don't remember all the names.)
but every mode you hade a different sets of weapons.
for example with close range, you had mines, knife, a arm bow, tranqualizer if i remember correctly.
most of the weapons you could use it in 2 ways. Like the knife, you could attack with it or throw with it and with the laptop gun you had the standard mode with you could use as a uzi, and the other mode was that you could throw it on the wall/ceiling and it was like a miniturret that would shout automaticly when an enemy was close by, of course you could pick up the miniturret and use it as a gun again.

Ocarina of Time, GoldenEye, BanjoKazooie, Mario 64 and Super Smash Bros have always been among my favorites (since they came out, that is). In my opinion, the N64 era was Nintendo's brightest.

That's without a doubt. Many new games have come along, but none were as good as the ones for the N64, SNES, and NES. I must say though, Nintendo has done a pretty good job of keeping Legend of Zelda a great series.

well of coarse n64 was nintendo's finest. It was the first real 3d graphics which improved a lot since snes. the games were all fantastic and it started a whole new trend of gaming

My favorite N64 would definatly have to been goldeneye. I played it when i was at my dads friends house and that was what first got me seriously into shooters. Beats halo anyday.

My favorite N64 games were LOZ: Ocarina of Time, Banjo Tooie, Pokemon Stadium(never got around to buying Pokemon Stadium 2, sadly) Kirby 64 and Mario Kart 64. About the thing with Rare giving Banjo and Kazooie voices, I read in EGM that Rare did try to put in voices but scrapped the idea, saying that it just wouldn't work.

Many of my favorite N64 games were Mario Kart 64, Super Mario 64, Banjo-Tooie, Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask.
But my all time favorite N64 games was Banjo-Kazooie. I can never get enough of that game.

You don't know how happy I am that just about everybody said Goldeneye 007. Such a great game. The story was there, but it kind of wasn't, not this endless flow, you just go from level to level. Some nice guns, including the Golden Gun. ^_^ And even some hard levels, the last on 00 Agent, still haven't beaten it. And it does truly beat Halo any day.

Yeah, Ocarina of Time is by far the best N64 game in my opinion. It's just so epic, fun, and an overall great game. Plus, it's Zelda :D.
