Help! Fishing Pond in OoT

Hey guys! If any of you would like to help out here at Zelda Dungeon, we could use someone with expertise in the area of the Fishing Pond from Ocarina of Time. We're looking for a very in-depth guide with a map of the area. I'm willing to make the map itself, but I don't have much experience with the pond, skipped that part of the game most of the time.

So if any of you would like to help write some content, that'd be awesome. We'd give you credit and bow down before you.

Sure, I can do that. I love the fishing pond! My friends and I used have tournaments there. I know all there is to know about it.

I find it kind of sad you guys are doing the exact thing Mases is supposely against so strongly...that being having other people write the content for you.

I do agree with you on that one. I really am against others adding content, since well, I'm almost certain it won't be up to the quality that Caleb and I are accustomed to. However, even if somebody were to submit content for either this thread or the other thread, it isn't as if we'd post it just as it was put togethor by the contributer. We'd obviously still proofread, make changes, and more importantly, Caleb and I would be doing the actual layout of the page, designing it so it looks rather spiffy, much like most of the recent sections we've added.

In the other thread, I've never played Phantom Hourglass online, but I do think that having a multiplayer guide is important.

For this particular page, I've never gotten the gold scale and honestly, I never really liked the fishing in Ocarina of Time. Thus, Caleb isn't quite the professional on it either, so help would be greatly appreciated.

there isn 't much to write about the fishing pound in OOT,

lets see, first of, the biggest fish in the pound is always near that broken tree like thing thats a little at the middle of the pound. even if link is young or adult, thats where the biggest fish always is. it will take a while that he will bite with a normal lure.

now about the sinking lure, it can be found at these places.
1. the grass against the wall, just walk a circle.
2. near the broken tree thingy were the big fish is.
3. second square rock at the north in te undeep water.
4. the rock at the north were there is a crack on the wall were little water comes out.
these are the locations i know.
Edit: if i had a map screenshot of the pound, i could point it out

you won 't get any reward if you caught a big fish with a sinking lure.
but the sinking lure is required to get the hylian loach, the reward is 200 rupees.
its at the bottom of the lake and you can 't lock on to it. easy way to confrim its location is to use the iron boots, don 't get to close or it will run away from you to a other spot.
the thing is.
