What game would you LOVE to see re-made!

Im sure that the thread title really sums up what this thread will actually have :p

Basically, what old game, or even new but dissapointing game, would you kill/plainly love to see re-made into better graphics, controls or even by a differant game maker.

For me, I would love to see the origional Banjo Kazooie, and not that crappy one on the Game Boy I think it was. That game owned, it was so massive. And when you jumped in water and you heard the shark...ooo.

Secondly is definitely FF 8. I love all FF games, pure fangirl right here, but 8 has definitely gotta be the best. Everything about the game was fantastic and I would love to see it in all better graphics, and making the characters actually talk.

i agree. Banjo Kazooie is one of my favorite nintendo 64 games. A good remake could be on the ds or maybe even wii. Also a remake of mm and oot both for the ds wouls be sweet!!!!!!!

Yeah, Final Fantasy 7 was a pretty good game(the best Sony FF, IMO) But I highly doubt it will be remade.

I'd love to see Poy Poy and Tombi remade, just because they were great games! I think Tombi is a pretty rare game now, not sure about Poy Poy.

I'm almost tempted to say 'pacman', but that would murder it. Ultima Underworld should be remade, I think, if anyone's heard of that.

Of course all the old Zelda games would be awesome if remade. Especially aLttP.

I would have to say Ocarina of time for the DS as well. Better graphics, few more items, a few more sidequests or maybe even something after you beat ganon like a extra dungeon.

There were so many great games that would most likely be ruined if they were remade. There are also some games that would be awesome if they were remade. I loved the game Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie, but the chances of it being remade for the DS or Wii or probably pretty slim, seeing as Microsoft owns Rare Ltd. now.

I would personally love to see a remake of Super Mario Bros. 2. I think that seeing it in 3D would be awesome, and would also be quite different to some of the other Mario games. Then again, Super Mario Sunshine and Galaxies were both very unique. But having to throw things at baddies to kill them would be a new challange, and is one of the few games I think could be improved by being made 3D.

The only other game I can think of is Pilot Wings 64. In my opinion it wasn't very well done, but had great potential. I think with the Wii it could become one of the greatest games of all time. I've yet to play it's SNES prequel, but I'll download it someday when I feel like playing it.

what about pokemon gold and silver. They already remade red and blue. Why not these. Gold and silver were great games that introduced the johto region including the entire second generation of pokemon. The only way to play it now is on the gbc which is cool but it would be cooler on the ds.

That actually is a possibility. Anouma said he wanted to remake ALttP in 3D. We'll have to wait and see though.

I would love to see the original medal gear be put into high def. Fun game for the time and the graphics were top notch then. I dont really get the new ones though. Like most games the series soon lost its touch.

Okay, most of you who have been here over the years have probably heard me complain about how much I didn't like Zelda 2, but now that you bring up remaking games, i think Zelda 2 could have some great potential in a redesign. Put in a 3-d perspective, I can see that game being a hundred times more appreciateable. I just think Sidescrollers were made for heroes with guns or people who could kill people by jumping on them.
I'd also like to see... Not necessarily a remake, but a sequel... I think they could make a great Kirby game if they put him into a 3-d game with a long story to unfold in a zeldalike world. Or even a more modern world, whatever. I'd just like to see that kind of adventure game with kirby as the star.
Also, a lot of you guys have been saying FF7, and I think there's a chance. Knowing that recently they released FF1 and 2 for PSP and they came out with FF3 for DS not too long ago along with the FF4 remake coming next month, I believe they might remake seven. I'm doubtful on anything past that though. I could see a PSP remake working out well, especially since Crisis Core just came out on PSP and you can see how good that is (For those of you who have played it.)
Other than that, I think most of my remake wishes are old games that I like that have already been mentioned.

I'm going to have to go with Chrono Trigger (seeing that in 3D is really cool, although so far, fanmade), and perhaps even Super Mario Bros. 3 as well.
A Banjo-Kazooie remake would be nice, so long as it was for a Nintendo console (which really won't happen, seeing as how Rare is MS now).

A year ago I would have said Bionic Commando. It's being remade now tho. NES Bionic Commando is my all time favorite NES game. So I can't say that now. The old NES is being remade and also making a new Bionic Commando for 360 and PS3 I suppose.

This is a game I own for my NES. It was pretty cool. You have this little Pencil shaped ship, and you get to chose from twelve different gun assortments (from Van (spreads fire forward and at 45o angles to either side, to CANNON, which swings two cannons around you and lets you choot dual cannonballs from the front of your ship.

it was an awsome (and insanely hard) game. I'v never made past the first level.
