Favorite Styles

Ok what I mean by favorite styles is this.

1. What is your favorite style of Link? (LoZ? AoL? ALttP? etc).
2. What is your favorite style of the Master Sword?
3. What is your favorite style of Hyrule?
4. What is your favorite style of the Sacred Realm? (GoldenLand/DarkWorld, Chamber of Sages, etc)
5. What is your favorite style of the Hyrule Castle?


1. (Link) AoL - Brown/green. The classic, original, and best way to go.
2. (Master Sword) A Link to the Past - Had the beamblade attack, best artwork, and was first introduced here.
3. (Hyrule) LoZ/AoL - was so huge and vast (considering AoL is placed in North Hyrule, while LoZ is placed in South Hyrule).
4. (Sacred Realm) Golden Land/Dark World - Our first glimpse of the resting place of the Triforce. I would say the Sacred Realm from OoT if we actually got the Temple of Light.
5. (Hyrule Castle) Twilight Princess - It was just so damn beautiful, finally got a full glimpse of what Hyrule Castle looks like with amazing graphics and a lot of area to explore in.

Also, feel free to add your own "favorite styles"...but only do so if you answer the 5 ones above.

1. (Link) I'd have to agree with you on that. AoL (based on the instruction manual art), with TP coming in close second.

2. (Master Sword) I'd have to tie between LttP and Ocarina of Time. Both had relatively the same design and introduction (pedestal), and both had their own features.

3. (Hyrule) Hmm. That's a tough one. Do you consider the Great Sea as one? If that's the case, then flooded Hyrule from The Wind Waker would be my favorite, with such open-endedness and places to explore.

4. (Sacred Realm) What else but the Dark World from Link to the Past. I don't think anything else can come close in my opinion.

5. (Hyrule Castle) The Minish Cap. I haven't played Twilight Princess yet, so I'm unaware of Hyrule Castle in that game. I think The Minish Cap really expanded on Hyrule Castle however.

You should add favorite style of magic to the list. (Medallions, Spells (AoL), Magical Items (rods, canes, cape)) The Cape would definitely be my favorite.

1. I like ALttP and OoT(Adult) Links.
2. A Link to the Past(the origianl) and in Twilight Princess because it looks awesome.
3. Probably Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess.
4. Dark World because it was so classical and awesome.
5. Twilight Princess because it was...awesome.

I meant you can go ahead and add, and give your opinion. And well The Great Sea isnt Hyrule since well, you do visit Hyrule...underwater.

Favorite style of magic would be...the medallions used in ALttP (bombos, quake, and ether) Also, there wasnt any medallions in AoL ;). But I did enjoy the Thunder Spell and Spell Spell.

My favorite magic was the medalions in A Link to the Past for sure. The magic in Adventure of Link was pretty good too...but theres not really much to choose from; since magic hasn't been used lately.

1. Twilight Princess. Hell, graphics can get me too.
2. Twilight Princess. Graphics Graphics.
3. Ocarina of Time. Loved it.
4. Dark World, just because it's awesome like that.
5. The style in Twilight Princess.

1) Favorite Link is definately Wind Waker Link. I thought he was perfectly animated. The graphics made it so colorful and full of excitement. I loved how he stared at things with his eyes if a secret or something was nearby.

2) Favorite Master Sword is definately the one from A Link to the Past. Much like Avenged said, the Link to the Past beam blade was amazing. Although it was depressing when you didn't have full power :(. I liked the sequence when Link pulled it out, with the epic music.

3) Twilight Princess has such a large Hyrule and you can see the evolution of some of the classic territories. Although the LTTP hyrule was great, and the openness of the LoZ/AoL Hyrule was also nice.

4) Definately the Dark World. I'm an ALTTP sucker so how can I choose anything else. Loved the music and the variety of enemies in the different regions.

5) The Minish Cap. Finally opened it up a bit more. (even though we saw most of the Castle in ALTTP, I thought TMC did a better job at it.

1. Probably TP Link. He's like OOT Link, but with more displayed emotions.
2. Either OOT or TP master sword. They look quite similar, except one's purple. Which I didn't understand.
3. Twilight Princess Hyrule. Nice and big, with loads of places to go.
4. The Dark World was pretty cool. Along with the music, the place was just quite memorable for me, because it was rather vast as well, like the original world.
5. This one's tough. Either Twilight Princess or Minish Cap. Both allowed you to almost fully explore the castle, showing its brilliance. Although in a bad light sometimes.

1. TP, its clothes were detailed and i really liked that.
2. For some reason, master sword in WW
3. TP, its was big and beautifull.
4. Dark World, the music is what i loved the most about it.
5. Either Alttp or TMC. also like that there is a secret passage to get in to the castle.

Agreed, the MM Hylian Shield was pretty cool. The design was really nice on it. I also like the TP Hylian Shield, because it's got that old OOT design to it.

Well considering Silver Arrows and Light Arrows are two completely different kind of arrows, then no. Silver Arrows actually killed off Ganon, the Light Arrows merely weakened him, where as the Master Sword is the tool that was used to defeat him.

Favorite style of Link
Adventure of Link - Artwork was what made the character look as good as he did. This was the first game that I believe actually set up the initial look of the Link we have today. In LoZ, he looked like a small, fat elf-man.

Favorite style of Master Sword
Twilight Princess - The artwork in ALttP was the best for the Master Sword, but I'm going on in game play. It was like having that artwork actually in the game.

Favorite style of Hyrule
Ocarina of Time - It was simple to find everything and was beautifully laid out. Although it did seem small once we got Twilight Princess in our hands, TP made Hyrule (although it is said to be lain out the same as OoT) seem like it was built on a bunch of hills.

Favorite style of Hyrule Castle
Twilight Princess - They just done such a great job making the castle look as glorious as possible. Getting to actually explore the castle more made it even better.

Favorite style of Sheild
Mirror Sheild (Majora's Mask) - The face on it was kool.

Favorite style of Zelda
Twilight Princess - She was just more authoritative in this game. Getting to fight her (or Ganon using her) was weird and epic at the same time.

Favorite style of Ganon (Ganondorf)
A Link to the Past - He was more menacing in his pig form. LoZ, he wore a t-shirt with a skull, and wasn't too much of a secret to keep once you actually got to him. Ocarina introduced his human form, which hasn't ever really pleased me (except in Twilight Princess, where he was badass). I was happy to see his pig form in TP, but he ran around like a wild boar (which he is, but still, he's Ganon, he can stand up)

Favorite style of Death Mountain
Legend of Zelda - Why did they put Gorons here? I will admite I played OoT before the original Zelda, but when I learned that Death Mountain was the original place of Ganon's hideout, I think that fit the name a lot better.

Favorite style of Zora
Ocarina of Time - I've always thought Zora's to be the nice ones in OoT, probably because I got used to them before actually learning that the River Zora's were, called Zora's as well.
