I think you're a step or two ahead of me.
When I beat the game, I still didn't have the biggest bomchu bag. I've since picked that up. I'm still down at least one, maybe 2 heart containers. And I'm still missing one power gem, 3 courage gems, and 2 wisdom gems. And 4 treasure maps.

Yes, that's very good. When I first beat the game I was missing around 8 gems, and two heart containers. The Bomb bag isn't hard to get, just browse the stores on the islands until you find one to buy. Or the cannon game.

Yeah, that's a good inventory. I really couldn't say I did better myself >.<

Yeah...thats pretty good...
I think I only need 5 more of each of the Gems, but I can't find them. I'll just use the guide here I guess :p
I also only need one more Heart Container...but its the one you get from the shooting game and I suck at that T_T

I'm short of the 20th power gem which is supposed to be in the post from King Motuh but there's no sign of it. :-(
I am two hearts short, one from the shooting game which I find difficult and the one from the fishing quest as I can't find Neptoona :-(

Almost there. I'm just missing all the ship parts. I got everything else without the use of a guide, besides the last Courage gem (looked here for help).

I've managed to find everything. I've got every item, every gem, every sunken treasure, I've had at least one of every random treasure, I've accomplished the perfect 25:00 Ocean Temple clear time and I've got one of every single ship part...except the Gem Anchor, the last piece I need for the Gold Ship. I've been setting my DS to random dates in different years and then resetting and keep visiting the ship shop, and that's how I managed to get most of the ship parts I was missing after I hauled up all the sunken ones and got all the other ones I could from the game. But that damn Gem Anchor still eludes me. I've had opportunities to have several sets of Gold Ship parts by now, but I'm just trying to get one of every part so I can build each ship. And supposedly if you get the whole gold set the ship maxes out at eight hearts instead of seven. Has anyone else tried this strategy and had any success or might know a good time to get the Gem Anchor?

Big Plays on Wifi usually gives you Golden Ship Parts.

I've done that. You've pretty much got to keep going back to Beedle's ship every day. His inventory swaps out when your system clock hits midnight. It will take a few days, possibly a few weeks, but it is possible to get all your ship parts in-game.
It's not the most efficient way to do it. Like zeypherlink said, you can score big-plays in multiplayer. For every four new ones you score, you get a gold ship part in-game. But there's no guarentee that it'll be one that you don't already have.
Probably the most efficient way to do it is to find someone who already has what you need, and swap with them. RyanNope mentioned in the traiding thread that he's got a few parts left over. And if he doesn't have the one you're looking for, I know I've got at least one spare gem anchor.

Yeah I have to do it the hard way because I'm not savvy to the whole multiplayer thing or how you set it up. Do you have to pay a fee? Or does it just work thru your existing internet connection? Anyway, I'm still trying my way...maybe I'll take another trip thru the temple and see what pops up in the chests at the end.

You need a broadband internet connection, and either a compatible wireless router, or the Wi-Fi USB adapter. There's no fee. All currently available games with wi-fi capability are free to play online. Some new titles with the red wi-fi emblem on the box will have a fee to play online, but Phantom Hourglass and anything with the blue emblem is free.
It's pretty easy to hook up. You don't have to register or anything like that.

OK...where is the quickest place to get started or to get more info about setting it up? And do I have to have any special hardware?

Basically, all you need is a wireless connection and you should be able to connect to the internet.
So if you have a wireless modem or router in your house, that is suffecient. If not that, than a friends house works too. Other then that, you can just search for a wi-fi hot spot, they are all over the place.
http://www.wi-fihotspotlist.com/
There are a lot of wi-fi hot spots by me. I believe every single Panera Bread is Wi-Fi enabled as well as many McDonalds resturaunts. That website doesn't tell nearly all the wi-fi spots though as there are dozens and dozens of them that I can think of that aren't listed.
I'd say the best bet, would be a school or university. I believe nowadays almost all universities are wifi enabled and I'd assume some sort of wi-fi capabilitiy for highschools and junior highs. Although it may be on a log-in base. One of your friends is bound to have a wireless modem.
Once you have a wireless signal, you can connect to the internet. After you click your record, click 'battle' instead of the usual 'adventure'. Then theres a Nintendo WFC button.

You must have done a lot of digging to get enough rupees to pay for all them parts :-)

It's not hard, if you're patient. The trick is to find, buy and sell treasures and ship parts at strategic times.

Like changing the date and time to get things to happen

Yes. Did that a few times too. Usually just advancing to the next day is enough, unless you're looking for something specific from the Masked Beedle ship.

Hi. I'm on my third go round. I have only 19 wisdom gems, am missing neptuna, can't complete the entire maze, or do the arrow game very well. However I do have all the ship parts, including the entire gold ship. bought a few pieces buy won most going through the Ocean King temple over and over after defeating Bellum. I have lots of treasures, all the minutes of sand, all the hearts. I can't figure out what to do with the ghost ship. it doesn't go away even though I've completed all the tasks, waited through the exhausting list of credits several times. I just keep playing the mini games over and over, buying things from beetle and the shops, looking for neptuna. has anyone completed everything and gone through until THE END? what to do after that? help?
