Well i thought i'd make a Topic like this because SSBB is the next big thing Nintendo is building a Hype about.

This is the place to talk about the Upcoming Super Smash Bros Brawl. Talk about how you think this game will do when it is released and all the Updates and Videos you can find.

I'm not a super duper fan of the series, but I'm just so glad that both Sonic and Solid Snake are going to be in the game. Quite rediculous as 15years ago Sonic was Nintendo's biggest enemy and Snake has been one of the leading Sony figures in recent times.

If only we could get... Master Cheif now, lol. I'm very happy with the roster and I'm looking forward to some more surprises.

TO answer your wishes onilink is in as a character not as an alternative costume.

Mewtwo is most deff back and the mewtwo's revenge costume(with the machinery on it) will also be in it.

Full leakage on Super Smash Brother's Brawl, so nothing's new. It's come out in Japan already, so there have been screenshots and leakage on the starting roster and full roster. Sheik confirmed quite a while ago, blah blah blah. Coming out March 5th, not March 9th Onilink :p

nope there isn 't a offcial date announced for europe.
but you can guess it most of the time, almost every european release date comes about a month after the USA release date.

This game is going to be great, 39 characters 41 stages 500 trophies...Actually make that 41 with the rumor of Mewtwo and Roy in the US version. Smash Bros. has somethin for everyone lol.

i don 't think roy and mewtwo will be back.
roy was the clone character in melee only based on power. now we got ike who is really based on power, i'm also very glad about it.

about mewtwo, i kinda understand why they took it out and placed lucario. lets face it, mewtwo may be cool but its not a character thats good with multi kombat.

Actually, Oni, the rumor is that US and Europe will get Roy and Mewtwo as unlockables, and Japan will get it through DC, just like 'Mario & Yoshi,' 'Samus Unmasked' and 'Tamagon.' If they're in, we'll find out on friday. One way or the other, the whole world will know.

And oni, it's happened before. Japan had a version of this game that had fewer bosses than the US or euro versions. If it's true they should just be thankful that they can get them through a free download.

Sonic DOES have a dark skin, it's just not noticeable to make it awesome. His fur gets a tiny bit darker and the cuffs of his gloves turn black.

these are the characters i'm gonne use most. can 't reall choose because there is a lot to choose. well of course my main character has always been and will be Link. My second i will use will be marth, since melee i have been really good with him.

about Ike, its really an awsome character with a lot of power, but i think on wifi matches it will be an overused character.

and i can 't wait to try out lucario, his fighting style and special moves looks awsome. some people think lucario is a replacement of mewtwo, but its not.

I plan on maining Wolf because he was MADE to be how I use fox in melee...Agressive and violent.

well he is not evil but neutral. he may be a criminal but he thinks fox as a rival rather then an enemy now. thats why he is grown populair since startfox assault.

btw i was checking on youtubve about the soundtracks, man they are good.
finnaly the mute city theme is better. they really did a good job with the music themes

Wolf's final smash is stronger but lasts the least time. Falco's jumps the highest and can Star KO anyone who stands on it. Fox's is the basic landmaster. Subtle diffirences that can make or break a pro.

I think it is unfair too. and the worst part of it is that they don't even translate the game into Dutch. it wouldn't surprise me if the release date is around christmas :(

The rumor is that the Europe release date is delayed to June 6th. Now Nintendo didn't confirm an official release dathe for Europe ...Yet!

I got the game yesterday when it came out, and I must say it's epic. I've been playing as Link and owning people ever since. The one thing I can't figure out is how to pull off the Final Smash. I'll see the Final Smash Ball and whack it, and then I start glowing, but after that I'm clueless. Any advice? I'm dying to see Link lay down some ownage and Samus in her Zero Suit.

After breaking the Smash Ball, press the button that makes you use your main special. For the Gamecube controller, it's the B button, and for the Wii Remote, the B button. Sometimes you have to be at a certain distance for the Final Smash to work. For Link, the enemy has to be in front of you. You can see a description of a few Final Smashes in the Instruction Booklet.

The SSE is amazingly challenging, even on the hardest difficulty. Actually this is only for the last level. It's called the Great Maze for a reason I guess XD

I got SSBB on Tuesday, and I beat Sub-Space Emissary, but I couldn't find Ike after he was turned into a trophy. Also, I'm only 86% complete it. Maybe I didn't completely get all the trophies and stickers available in the gold boxes or something? :S

I think I have almost all the characters through SSE, but my friend tells me there are 2 that can't be unlocked through that. I'm guessing it's Toon Link and Wolf, but I could be wrong.

This game is better than Melee in my opinion. There's more characters to unlock which is always fun, there are songs and game trials to get, which is also fun, and the final smash is awesome. I think that Melee involves alot more skill than Brawl does, and Nintendo seemed a little desperate for more characters. Other than those 2 things, great game. ;)

I used to own a Wii. There was nothing appealing on it. I didn't own a console for years until I bought the Wii when it launched. I've played a little Brawl. I was more annoyed and frustrated than amused. I'm not a Microsoft fanboy either. Are you saying Nintendo needs more random shooters like Microsoft has? They're doing very good with the current titles on the Wii. Thats also why Nintendo is winning the console wars when they aren't even in it...
And graphics doesnt mean its a better game. The PS2 had the worst grfx of last gen, and it won the console wars...same thing is happening with the Wii...Gameplay and kickass games are better than grfx.

I've been going strong on this game since its release sunday, and I'm both impressed and unimpressed.
I'm impressed by how little it's changed from the last one while still giving new twists and keeping the whole thing interesting. I'm not impressed by the last boss, the fact that Mr. Game and Watch still sucks, Olimar, or wolf.
Don't get me wrong, I think Game and Watch could have something if they gave him any good moves. Same with Olimar, he's got a billion things he could do, and he doesn't do anything interesting. His moves do little damage, and it seems like if he can throw one pikmin then he should really be able to throw all five. I don't know. I don't like him.
And what's up with Wolf anyways? I mean I like that they put him in there, I like that, but I think he should have had his own move set and not just be a clone of Fox and Falco. Sure he's stronger and faster, but that's not what makes a chracter good. I liked how they did Wario. He's entirely different from Mario. I thought he was going to be some sort of clone when I first saw the game, but he's actually his own character. That's cool.
On the plus side though, I do like hitting things really hard with Ike. It burns and kills things. Hooray, Ike.

I unlocked Toon link today, and have no idea how I did it. I was playing through classic with a few more characters, and then I had to face him. I wonder if the requirement is to beat classic with 5 characters? that's what I currently had when I unlocked him. I still don't know how to get Wolf, but I'll get him eventually.

I think that my favourite characters would have to be Ike, Toon Link, and Lucario. Ike and Lucario resemble previoud Smash Bros. Characters; Ike is scarily similar to Roy, and Lucario to Mewtwo. I don't know why, but Toon Link has a different feel than Link does. I find it easier to play with Toon Link, but their move sets are almost the same.

The most fun character is Wario, hands down. His motorcycle, the farting, biting on other players to get gas, it's just hilariously fun. I like his Final Smash, espacially when I'm facing my brother. When I get on that motorcycle and start zooming around he practically pisses his pants.

O really? You know, I just didn't TRY with Toon Link. I hoped he wouldn't be a clone, but he's the only clone in brawl which annoys me to no end. He deserves better than being the ONLY CLONE that only people who play Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass would play for fun. By the way, that's not an insult. I'm just using it as my explanation to why I don't play as him.

Wario IS a lot of fun though. Fits my sister perfectly: biting, bad gas, and a mustache XD

But I think I'm gonna main Wolf. I already started with him. He's not as fast as Fox or Falco, but he's strong and has awesome attacks.

And Wolf is unlocked by going through the doors in The Ruins after beating the SSE, beating Boss Rush with fox after beating the SSE, or playing 450 vs matches.

And I have returned to supposedly by a walkthrough on where it is and it's gone. Supposedly he is after the 2nd golden stairway between the 2 doors. And I can't choose him in Character select, is this a glitch or am I unable to use Ike in the SSE now?

You should be able to use him anywhere...if you didn't get the Ike trophy it just means you can't use him in SSE.

I didn't miss any trophies. I don't know how I didn't. I'm like the only person in my area who got every trophy one time through. The only one I had problems with was MetaKnight. I KO'd myself trying to get it XD stupid mines....stupid 200% damage...lol.

Today's update on the Smash Bros. Dojo was on Ganondorf.

For his final smash, he morphs into Ganon. Onilink89 posted a video of final smashes in another thread a while back, but the YouTube resolution makes it kind of hard to see all the detail. Ganon is very elaborate.

The Smash Bros. series, particularly Melee, and now Brawl, have done a nice job of adding elaborate detail to many of the characters. I don't think I've ever seen Ganon like that before.

OK heres what happens when you get rare pokes:

Mew - Drops a CD
Celebi - Drops a ton of Stickers
Jirachi - Drops a trophy

I may have gotten Celebi and Jirachi mixed up, but I'm pretty sure on that.

Yeah you get it. When you load Brawl back up it'll say you got the CD before the title screen comes up.

544 Trophies. 700 Stickers. Stages are on the challenge menu, I got them all when I unlocked Toon Link.

Actually, you did get Celebi and Jirachi mixed up. And also, when Celebi drops a trophy, it's not just one, but actually a few. Smash Bros. Dojo: Pokemon Encyclopedia (http://www.smashbros.com/en_us/items/mball/mball10.html) Scroll down to the bottom to find Mew, Celebi, and Jirachi.

You could as ways try and get Jirachi or deoxys in a brawl since one of them drops a few trophys

You unlock ganondorf by beating classic mode on hard with Link or Zelda then u AVE TO BATTLE HIM BEAT HIM THEN UNLOCK HIM.
YES I SWARE TO GOD TOON LINK IS IN THE GAME U UNLOCK HIM BY BEATING ADVENTURE MODE WHEN U DO GO BACK TO THE FOREST STAGE AND ENTER ANY DOOR AND THEN TOON LINK WILL BE IN THERE BEAT HIM AND UNLOCK HIM!!!:)

This game totally surpasses Twilight Princess. Yeah i feel proud saying it aswell. Super Smash Bros Brawl was simply fantastic, it contains every single aspect i'd want in any game (My Music, Stage Builder etc) and the Smash Bros Series in no doubt my favourite. Anyway, shall i proceed to the whats' part.

My best Characters are, King Dedede, Luigi, Wolf, Toon Link and Marth(Ike sometimes). My favourite stage would be Final Destination, the background scenery is stunning and it has awesome music, though putting neutral stages aside my favourite would be Halberd, i just loved it for some reason, it had the best Background Music aswell.

I finally got around to playing this on Saturday. While I was waiting for my date to get ready for the dance (at her friend's house), I played it with her friend's date and her siblings. I lost the first couple matches because I didn't know what I was doing, but once I got kind of used to it, I won every match.

I didn't play a lot of stages however, Eldin Bridge was kind of cool, and Final Destination was amazing. The graphics were stunning to me as well (first time I'd ever played a Wii). I'm almost tempted to save up for a Wii for this game.

By the time SSBB is released there, I'll probably have a reliable internet connection for my Wii, at which point perhaps I should take you up on that challenge. Well, I mean, you can have a few weeks to practice first.

if you want giant jigglypuff for the rest of the match you have to go to the brigde of eldin and get the smashball with jigglypuff and wait intill the guy that drops the bombs come out.and make jigglypuff jump to the gap when the portal come and BAM! jigglypuff is gigantic till you die.:lol:
