I personally hated this part of the game. It took me about ten minutes of various levels of sounds until I got the price of 200 rupees. After finally buying it, if you talk to Eddo's assistant outside the door, he says that you could get it quickly by simply snapping your fingers. I tried this again on another file and it didn't work whatsoever. Did anyone else try this? What do you think about this section of the game?

Dude, just blow into the mic... thats all ya gotta do. I got mine for... if I remember correctly no more than 100 probably around 50.

Some walkthroughs suggest that you can just tap the mic in some instances, Like when you're fighting the pols voice. I wonder if that would help you get a lower price.

That is what I did. By "various levels of sound" I'd just blow in different ways. And wow, 50-100 rupees?? That's pretty low.

I believe 200 is the lowest that it will cost you if you yell/blow the loudest into the mic.

Yeah i tried snapping and the old man said he couldn't hear me.... so i just yelled and had to pay 200 rupees, I've tried this on many occasions and I've not been able to snap to get the salvage arm and I think the lowest you can get is 200 rupees.

and when i got it, my brother was like, why are you yelling!?!?!? and i said snapping doesn't work. lol he got so confused

I didn't know you could just blow into the mic or snap into the mic to get the effect, I thought it was more sensitive to voice than that. So I yelled my lungs out to get the lower price. Then I found out that the dude outside said you can just snap your fingers to get the desired effect. Too bad I can't snap my fingers.

dude?!!?u cant snap?!? that must stink. i remember when i learned how to snap-whoa-getting off topic-so anyway-i hate how i always break it. and i always have to get it fixed

It's a good thing you never had to lose your voice trying to get it fixed rather than pay for it. Let's just say that the yelling idea was a good once, but I would've hated having to do it over and over. :)

I just blew into the mic. That worked fine.

I loved blowing into the mic but it took me like four minutes.I actually payed 300 the first time i played the game.That was a waste.

Nah, don't worry about that. The microphone can probably take sound up to many more decibels than the human voice can produce.
