The time has come for yet another test of wit, creativity, and the use of expensive software for trivial purposes: a Photoshop Contest is upon us!

We’re asking readers to submit the funniest, most creative, or most awe-inspiring pictures they can produce within the guidelines we suggest. This week, we’re stoking the searing fires of the Majora’s Mask 3D Hype Train, First, let’s take a look at the winners from last week’s contest: Ganonize Link.

This Week: Majora’s Mask 3D Hype Train

Once again, Adobe Photoshop isn’t required to enter this contest, and we’ll accept images made with any image-manipulation software, so long as it looks great! Now with that disclaimer out of the way . . .

Contest: Majora’s Mask 3D Hype Train

Since today marks the Dawn of the Final Week until the release of Majora’s Mask 3D, we’re asking you all to board its glorious Hype Train for our weekly Photoshop Contest.

The premise of this week’s Photoshop Contest is simple: Send us an image of the Majora’s Mask 3D Hype Train using some of the following inspirational photos (also found in the Image Gallery at the end of this article), or whatever else you need to make your concept of the glorious MM3DHT a reality. Whether your entry turns into a beautiful blend of characters Majora’s Mask and Spirit Tracks, an intense workout of the Happy Mask Salesman at the hands of the Wii Fit Trainers, or something else is up to you!

We’ll know if you’re copy pasting something you found on the Internet, so make sure your entry is an original work! Remember, you can use any photos you want for this contest!

Deadline: Submit entries no later than next Wednesday at midnight: 11:59 p.m. PST on February 11. Entries submitted after this Deadline will not be considered.

Challenge Mode

For those of you wishing to tackle a much more difficult Photoshop challenge, make sure your submission includes the phrase Challenge Accepted in the comment you submit your photo in, and be sure to follow the Challenge Rule below. Remember, Challenge Mode submissions follow the same rules and guidelines of the base Photoshop Contest in addition to the Challenge Rule.

Challenge Rule: Your entry must NOT include an actual locomotive on rails, like the unfortunate machine from New Jersey higher up. Come up with a clever interpretation of the Majora’s Mask 3D Hype Train and show it off. Also, you must include the Swordsman (trainer) from Majora’s Mask in some way. Other than that, you may use any images you wish.
