Photoshop Contest: Ladies of the Zelda Universe
Posted on April 29 2016 by Rod Lloyd
Greetings once again, Zelda Informer community. It’s time for another edition of our weekly Photoshop Contest! I’ve noticed that the more recent contests have for some reason focused more on the male characters of the Zelda series. Even though we may see Princess Zelda in a few entries here and there, there hasn’t been a contest completely devoted to Zelda‘s extended cast of strong female characters. We intend to change this problem today. Join the contest this week to celebrate characters like Zelda, Midna, Malon, Anju, and Telma, and see what went down in last week’s contest: Psychedelic Screenshot.
Last Week’s Contest:
We were hoping to see some psychedelic wonder in our previous contest, but unfortunately no one with Photoshop capabilities made an appearance. Instead, we’re crowning commenters Ian and dizzi as our winners, as they offered some interesting suggestions for potential Photoshop entries.
This Week’s Contest: Ladies of the Zelda Universe
As the Zelda series has evolved over the years, it has developed a very strong and diverse cast of female characters. Ocarina of Time introduced Malon, Ruto, and Nabooru, and expanded the character of Princess Zelda; Majora’s Mask gave us Anju and Cremia; and Twilight Princess featured Midna, one of Zelda‘s most beloved and complex characters. With so many awesome ladies seen throughout the series, it’s about time we took a moment to appreciate them.
This week’s contest is to ‘shop an image featuring female characters from the Zelda series. You can depict a new adventure / game starring one or more of these lady heroes, or you can concoct a loving tribute to your favorite female character. Whatever you decide to do, feel free to use images from our gallery below and anything else you may find on the internet.
General Rules: Submit your entries in the comments section below.
