Miiverse Highlights: Link Everywhere

Welcome to yet another Miiverse Highlights, ZeldaInformer’s Thursday Weekly Feature! Last week we held our very first #WeeklyPoll in which we asked everyone in the Hyrule Warriors Community what character was their favorite to use in the game. Now that the week has passed, I have gathered every vote, chosen the winning “answer” and then picked the best drawings I could find in The Legend of Zelda Community!

If you’re new to this feature, here’s how things go down. Miiverse Highlights consists of two things, a #WeeklyChallenge and a #WeeklyPoll. When a #WeeklyChallenge is issued, Zelda fans will be asked to draw something based on the Miiverse Community the challenge is posted in for a chance to have their drawing featured on our site. A #WeeklyPoll, on the other hand, will ask a question based on the series or a specific game where, after the week is done, I will take the most-voted answer and choose the best drawings I can find all over Miiverse based on that answer.

Or, at least, that’s how it’s usually been. #WeeklyPolls is going to go through a small change. As I was going through Miiverse today in search of drawings, I realized that, outside of the main The Legend of Zelda Community, not many people actually post drawings. This makes things a lot harder since sometimes I will have to search for game-specific things, which might have very few drawings for it overall. Not only that, this also somewhat limits the amount of people that can get their posts featured. So, although the polls will continue as per usual, I’m going to add another object to search for based on your answers: Screenshots. Now, not only will I search for the best drawings I can find, but just in case there aren’t that many to be found in the first place, I will also search for the best-looking and/or wittiest screenshots based on the most-voted answer. This change will begin taking place during the next #WeeklyPoll.

In any case, how about I actually post what you came here for? If you’ve read the title to this feature then you already know who it is that won last week’s #WeeklyPoll. The one character people love to play as the most in Hyrule Warriors is none other than Link himself! He only won by a single vote, though, with second place being tied between Lana, Sheik and Midna! After checking out The Legend of Zelda Community, here are the 10 best drawings of Link that I could find!

These are all absolutely fantastic, so they are not posted in any particular order. I honestly don’t know how these people do it! If you’d like to leave some love to these wonderful artists, make sure to click on their image to be re-directed to the actual post!

Now, on to this week’s event! Since last week we had our #WeeklyPoll, now it’s time for a #WeeklyChallenge! To celebrate the upcoming release of Majora’s Mask 3D, in this new challenge we ask you draw us your favorite mask from the game! For an even bigger chance to get your drawings featured during next week’s Miiverse Highlights, the extra challenge is the same as last time: draw somebody other than Link wearing or using said mask! Since the game hasn’t been released yet, you can find the post in The Legend of Zelda Community. For easier access, make sure to follow our official NNID! If you’d like to submit a drawing, all you have to do is log into Miiverse through your 3DS or Wii U, find our latest event and leave a reply!
