Back in late 2023, it was revealed that the Master Sword would become available as part of Bandai Spirits’ Proplica collector’s line. Information on the prop was limited, although it would be displayed at Tamashii Nation’s toy expo, where fans could get a special glimpse of the blade in all its glory. Now, at last, there’s been an announcement to confirm that the replica will release in September 2024.

Preorders are available via the Japanese My Nintendo Store, where the sword is priced at 22,000 yen (approx. $141 USD), as well as through select online retailers (always make sure that these stores ship to your region). Notably, purchase is limited to two per person direct with Nintendo, and delivery is slated for any time between September to early October 2024.

Made from ABS (an opaque thermoplastic), “The Legend of Zelda Master Sword” measures at approximately 105cm, and complex coloring such as metallic and pearl gradients seem to make for a perfect reproduction of the blade. What’s more, the collectible has eight built-in background music songs from the Zelda series, with additional button actions and vibration gimmicks. Included in your purchase of this item is the sword’s main body, sheath, and special pedestal, meaning it’s ready for display on arrival.

“PROPLICA” is a category that has been garnered from decades of Bandai role-play category know-how, and employs state-of-the-art manufacturing technology to bring realistic prop replicas to discerning collectors. The stunning detail in the listing’s pictures is bound to cause a stir in the Zelda community!
