Moldorm Ahh, yes. The giant worm from A Link to the Past's Tower of Hera has returned, only now he's a heck of a lot harder. Link only has three hearts during this battle and half the space in comparison to the Link to the Past version. Moldorm's attacks are pretty weak, so you can take a couple of hits, but make sure he doesn't knock you into the basement through the holes. If he does, you won't take damage, but you'll have to start the fight all over again! After 4 hits, Moldorm will go down, leave a heart container, and open the door to your first instrument needed to open the Windfish's egg.
Genie First off, dodge the fireballs that the genie throws at you. He will retreat for a little and say that whenever he has his bottle, he's invincible. He just gave you a major hint; make sure he never gets his bottle again. The genie's bottle will start bouncing around the room. To stop it, hit it with your sword. This won't hurt the genie, but it will stun him. While he's stunned, pick up the bottle with your newly acquired Power Glove level 1 and throw it against the wall. Avoid the fireballs whenever the genie leaves the bottle, and stun and throw the bottle whenever he's in it. Eventually the bottle will break and the genie will start crying and get mad. He will create the illusion of two genies, then keep throwing fireballs and sometimes pause. Dodge the fireballs by using your feather or just avoiding them, and hit the genie with your sword whenever you can. After about 8 hits, the genie will die. 2 down, 7 to go!
Slime Eyes When you enter this guy's room, he will keep taunting you about how you can't see him. That's because he's on the roof! Ram the wall with your Pegasus boots and the eye will fall down. Keep hitting him with your sword, and he will start splitting into 2 eyes. This may seem bad, but really it's what you want. When the eyes are holding together by a tiny strand, ram that strand with the Pegasus boots. Now you're up against 2 eyes. Avoid all of their jumping attacks and keep hitting them with the sword. Eventually you will defeat the eyes.
Angler Quite possibly the easiest boss in the game. You fight him from a platformer-style view. Just keep hitting him with the sword or use the whirling blade attack and dodging Angler's charge, other fish, and rocks that fall.
Slime Eel This guy's pretty tough. He'll keep coming out of holes around the room. Stay facing one hole and dodge if he attacks. If the eel comes out of the hole you're looking at, shoot it with the hookshot (The coolest weapon in every Zelda game!). The eel will bite it, and it will be pulled towards you. With the eel next to you, slash your sword like mad. Every slice should hit the eel in the head. Keep repeating and he'll bite the dust as easily as he bit the hookshot.
Facade Start off by breaking the pots, because the famous flying tiles are coming and they're easist to block by a corner. Avoid the tiles and the holes that open in the ground and eventually a face will appear. Stand where his nose would be and drop bombs there. Each one will hit and you won't get hurt at all. Repeat until the face fades out for good.
Evil Eagle This boss is kind of easy, at least compared to the rest of this level. He's easier than the Kirbys! (This game is filled with cameos! Kirby! Mario! Chain Chomp!) Anyway, keep hitting the bird's head with the hookshot or arrows (If you bought or stole a bow) and he'll die easily. But, like the first boss, make sure this sucker doesn't knock you off the tower when he's dropping feathers, or else you must fight him again.
Hot Head Keep hitting him with the Magic Rod until his shell breaks off. Before that, he won't hurt you when he jumps. Just avoid the lava that comes out when he does, it does heavy damage.
The Nightmare
-First form-Simple. Just make sure you have magic powder (give the mushroom to the witch-Why am i telling you this? you should have done it a long time ago! remember the raccoon?!) That's the only way to beat him!
-Second form-There are two ways to beat this guy. One is to play Volley Blast (a la Ganondorf in Ocarina of Time), but I don't use that way much. My way is to hit him with your sword right when he fires the blast.
-Third Form-Well, it's the Level 1 boss again, only now he takes more hits. He likes to speed up now, but if you let him slow down that means he's completely healed. Refer to the Moldorm section of this guide if you forgot how to beat him.
-Fourth form-Just keep hitting him with the Pegasus boots slam. Make sure your sword is also equipped, though. Dodge whatever he throws. Is it just me, or does this guy look like Ganon?
-Fifth form-WHAT A WIMP! just hit this form once with any long range weapon except the bow.
-Sixth form-Jump over the macelike arms and hit his eye when it opens with either
A. the boomerang (1 hit)
or
B. the arrows (somewhere around 15-20 hits, i'm not sure)
Congratulations, after you beat form 6, you beat the game!
