NOTE: This Walkthrough will cover, each and every Heart Piece, Item, Boss, and everything else.
Now that we have all the pieces of triforce, we can make our way to Death Mountain. It is a good idea to have full hearts, full bombs, a red potion, and about 20rupees on you for use of arrows. From just outside dungeon 8 head left a screen, up a screen, left four screens, up three screens, left a screen, and up a screen. Now Head left over the river using the step ladder and then head up the stairs. Head left two screens and you will be at what is known as "Spectacle Rocks". Place a bomb on the rock to the left just under it to reveal a hole which leads to the funal stage, Death Mountain.
This is by far the largest dungeon that we have seen thus far. There are 48rooms in this dungeon, but if you go through it the quickest way you will not go through even half of them. From the start simply head up a screen. There would be an Old Man in this room if you have not gotten all the pieces of triforce, but since u have them, both doors are open. Head up a room.
There are a couple enemies in this room. You can kill them all except the bubbles of course. They will leave a key, but we no longer need keys anymore. Bomb the wall to the left and head left a screen.
Two lanomolas in this room. They move around the room pretty quickly. Hit each body part off one by one until they are all gone. After they are defeated push the block at the left up and then head down the stairs. Head down the stairs and up the other set of stairs. Kill the like-likes here and head right through the locked door.
Light up the room once you enter it. Kill the enemies if you wish. Afterwords bomb the wall at the bottom and head down a screen.
Head straight down once you enter this room. Place a bomb on the southern wall here and head down a screen.
A ton of enemies in this room. Kill them all and grab the compass that is left for you. Then head back up two screens and then right a screen.
Theres a new enemy in this room, a Patra. He is pretty hard to kill and is not worth it. Simply avoid it and head down a screen. Kill all the gels in this room and then place a bomb against the wall on the right. Now head right a screen.
Theres another patra in this room. To kill him strike the outer things surrounding him with your sword. It takes two shots to each one to defeat. After all are killed, strike the center of him. After you have completely defeated him, grab the Dungeon Map.
After you get the map, place a bomb against the wall at the top and then head up a screen.
There is a load of enemies in this room. Be careful of your health and use a potion if needed. Kill them all off one by one and then place a bomb against the wall at the top. Head up a screen.
Even more and more enemies here. Kill them all off one by one and then push the block on the left up and head down the stairs. Head down the stairs and up the other set of steps and grab the Red Ring. You will now only take 1/4th of the original damage, or 1/2th of the damage as you did with the Blue Ring. You will notice that the armor that Link wears now turns red. Head back up the stairs. Head down two screens, left a screen, and up a screen. Kill or avoid the petra here and head up through the locked door.
There is an Old Man in this room and he will say "GO to the next room". Its quite obvious that you need to bomb a wall in this room and that wall is the left one. Do so and head left a screen.
Kill all the wizrobes in here and move the block on the left to the left. Head down the stairs that appear at the top-right. Head down and up the other set of stairs to resurface.
Kill the Zols in this room and head left a screen. Kill the kease in this room and head left yet another screen. Kill the patra in this room and then move the block on the left up and head down the stairs. Head down and up the other stairs to re-surface. Kill or avoid all the wizrobes in this room and place a bomb against the wall at the top. Then head up a screen.
This room is annoying as you dont have much space to manuver around. Kill the wizrobes and try to avoid the bubbles. After they are all defeated push the middle block on the right to the right to reveal stairs at the top-right corner.
Head down the stairs and then go and grab the Silver Arrows. Now head back up the other set of stairs. Head down a screen. Back in this room, kill the wizrobes if you did not the first time and then push the block on the left up and head down the stairs. Head down and then up the other stairs to re-surface. Head up a screen. Kill all the Like-Likes and then head left through the door that opens up. Light the room, kill the zoles, and head up a screen. Kill all the wizrobes in this room and grab the rupees that are left for you. Head up a screen.
Kill the wizrobes in this while avoiding the traps. Then push the block on the left to the left to reveal a staircase at the top-right. It is under a trap though. Trigger the trap and then quickly run to the stairscase. Head down the stairs and then up the other set of stairs to re-surface.
A couple of traps and wizrobes in this room. I suggest killing the wizrobes first and then place a bomb on the left wall. Head left a screen.
There are a handful of enemies in here. Kill everything except the bubbles of course and push the block on the left up and head down the stairs. Like usual head down and up the other stairs to resurface.
There is a petra in this room. Kill him using the same tactics as we did before. Before heading up a screen, refill your hearts with some potion if you have any left, and bring out the Silver Arrows. Head up a screen to face the final boss, Ganon.
As you enter the room you will see Link hold up the Triforce which will light up the room and you will see Ganon at the top-left of the screen.
He will then disappear and start to shoot unblockable fireballs out at you. Just stab your sword randomly around the room. You will hit Ganon every so often and he will appear for a second.
After four hits with your sword, Ganon will appear and be Brown. Give him one blow with a Silver Arrow and you will have defeated him.
Ganons piece of triforce will fall to the ground so go and grab it and it will unlock the door at the top and it will leave the dust of Ganon behind. Head up through the door and strike the fireballs with your sword and rescue Princess Zelda. Congradulations as you have beaten the Legend of Zelda for the NES. Enjoy the ending.
